Herkimer "diamonds" are naturally-occurring double-pointed clear quartz crystals that sparkle like actual diamonds. This one is about 1/4" long, and is absolutely gorgeous! A rockhound friend asked me to design a setting that allowed the stone to float freely, because that is how they are found: lying loose in little pockets in the rock. This pendant is sterling silver; overall length is about 1/2".
